Parrot grooming should be calm, conservative, and focused on the bird’s welfare—not appearance. We offer nail care and feather-condition assessment, plus beak assessment when appropriate.
Overgrown nails can make perching uncomfortable, but trimming too far can cause pain and bleeding. Beaks should not be routinely ground for cosmetic reasons. Abnormal growth, colour, texture, or alignment can indicate an underlying health problem and may require an avian veterinarian rather than a grooming procedure.
