Indian Ringnecks are intelligent, curious, and social birds that form strong bonds with their owners. They're known for their impressive talking ability — males can learn 200+ words and phrases. They're playful and active, enjoying interactive toys and puzzles. However, they can be nippy during their "bluffing" phase (around 12-18 months) and may become territorial if not properly socialized.

A varied diet of high-quality pellets (60%), fresh vegetables and fruits (30%), and seeds/nuts as treats (10%). Avoid avocado, chocolate, caffeine, and alcohol. Provide fresh water daily. Include calcium sources like cuttlebone.
