Lovebirds are small but packed with personality! They're playful, curious, and surprisingly bold for their size. Despite their name, they do fine alone if given plenty of social interaction. They love chewing and need safe wooden toys. They can learn simple tricks and some will cuddle with their owners.

Pellets (50%), fresh vegetables and fruits (40%), seeds as treats (10%). Need plenty of calcium. Avoid avocado and chocolate.

Minimum cage: 18" x 18" x 18" (45x45x45 cm). Bar spacing max 1" (2.5 cm). They're active and need room to climb and play.

1-2 hours of supervised out-of-cage time daily. They love to fly short distances and climb. Provide chewing toys to keep them occupied.
