A
Ahmed refaee my parrots love this mix so much, and i can already see improvement in their health, energy and feathers shine
A measured seed mix with a real pâté — for small and medium parrots, not just the tiny ones. 800 g, human-grade and honestly declared: 42% millet, 30% canary seed, 17% oat groats, 7% oilseeds, 3% dried egg-and-fruit pâté, 1% freeze-dried vegetables. Built for budgies, lovebirds and cockatiels — and equally for conures, sun conures, Indian ringnecks and Alexandrian parakeets, which most “small bird” mixes ignore. A varied, honest base for the daily bowl, fed with vegetables.

Read the calcium figure honestly. A seed-led mix has a low calcium-to-phosphorus ratio, and this formula is no exception. That is precisely why it is sold as a complementary feed and not as a complete diet. It is not designed to supply the calcium your parrot needs. Calcium and vitamin D must come from the rest of a varied diet and, where an avian veterinarian advises it, from appropriate supplementation.
This formula is not fortified with vitamins or trace minerals. We do not publish vitamin values for it and we do not claim added vitamins or minerals. Birds eating a properly fortified formulated food generally should not receive extra vitamins unless a veterinarian recommends them.
Primarily intended for: budgerigars (budgies), lovebirds, cockatiels and parrotlets.
May also be offered appropriately to: conures, including sun conures; rose-ringed parakeets, commonly called Indian ringnecks; and Alexandrine parakeets. These birds are not identical in size or nutritional needs, so portions must reflect the individual bird’s species, body condition, activity, health and total diet.
This is a complementary feed. That means it should form a measured part of a varied feeding plan rather than being the bird’s only food. Avian-veterinary guidance consistently warns that seed-only diets can be nutritionally incomplete and that parrots often select their favourite seeds instead of eating every ingredient in the proportions offered.
Use this mix alongside an appropriate formulated food and suitable fresh vegetables according to your bird’s needs and your avian veterinarian’s advice. The 1% freeze-dried vegetable inclusion does not replace separately offered fresh vegetables and greens.
Ask an avian veterinarian for an individual feeding plan if your bird is unwell, underweight, overweight, breeding, laying eggs, hand-rearing chicks or undergoing a major diet conversion.
Egypt Parrot Supplies developed this formula through extensive review of avian feeding guidance, practical ingredient selection and repeated observation of how our own parrots handle different seed sizes and textures. The result is a deliberately proportioned recipe rather than an unspecified “mixed seed” bag.
That development process does not make the product a scientifically validated complete diet. We publish the exact formula and its limitations because owners and avian professionals should be able to judge what a product contains, what role it is intended to play and what it does not replace.
Keep the jar tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and humidity. Use clean, dry utensils. Do not feed food that smells rancid or appears damp, stale, moldy or contaminated by insects.
No. EPS Premium Small Parrot Seed Mix + Pâté is a complementary seed mix. It should not be the sole source of nutrition.
Yes. Lovebirds and parrotlets are among the primary species for which the ingredient sizes were selected. Serve it in measured amounts within the bird’s complete feeding plan.
It may be offered appropriately to these species as a complementary seed mix. Their size, activity and nutritional needs differ, so the amount and overall diet should be adjusted for the individual bird.
Typical estimated values, calculated from the formula: 13.3% crude protein, 7.5% crude fat, 7.4% crude fibre and 0.077% calcium. The calcium-to-phosphorus ratio is about 0.22:1, which is why this mix must not be the only food offered. These figures are estimates, not laboratory test results.
Yes. Small sunflower seed is included within the combined 7% selected-oilseed portion alongside flax, chia and niger seed.
No. The formula contains 1% freeze-dried vegetables, but this does not replace suitable fresh vegetables and greens in the bird’s wider diet.
